Majestically, the Scottish Highland cattle stood on the green meadow, its small horns in full splendour. It seemed unimpressed by the world around it and chewed the lush grass with relish. In the background a fence and a dense green hedge rounded off the idyllic picture perfectly. But then one's gaze fell on the horizon and the sight of the brilliant blue sky with white clouds made one's heart leap for joy. But what was that? A skyscraper towering over the cattle, which did not seem to fit into the picture at all. It seemed like a foreign body in the peaceful landscape. The bovine did not seem to notice the building, but the observer could not look away. The contrast between the primal beauty of the animal and the modern architecture was exciting and disturbing at the same time. It was an unexpected sight that made the viewer think, asking how far the impact of human civilisation goes and whether we are really always aware of what we are doing to our planet. But at that moment, the bovine stood unimpressed and reminded the viewer that there is still beauty and tranquillity in nature that needs to be protected.
