The warm, golden October light shines in the autumnal mixed forest in the Oder-Spree district. A small country road leads into the dense autumn forest. The meadow grass has taken on a yellowish-brown colour. The leaves of the deciduous trees along the road, such as copper beech and chestnut, have already taken on a yellow, red, brown or orange colour. The light autumn wind makes the leaves dance on the paths and country roads. The nature motif captivates with its harmonious luminosity and its unique variety of colours. ("You leaves want to dance, so calls the wind in autumn").
This enchanting, warm autumn landscape in sunny October invites you to take a relaxing walk through the forest and across the fields of the breathtaking Brandenburg countryside.
The nature motif was taken on 27 October 2015 with the NIKON D90 camera (lens: SIGMA 18.0-50.0 mm f/2.8) during an extensive stay in the Oder-Spree district.
The glowing leaves of the deciduous trees in shades of orange, yellow and red lend the autumnal motif a warming atmosphere and fit perfectly into living and working spaces. The inviting country road leads directly into a dense mixed forest populated by pines, birches and deciduous trees. Pure nature and at the same time refuelling the human body and spiritual soul.

As one of the four meteorological and astronomical seasons, autumn is the time of year between summer and winter. In the temperate zones, it is the time of harvest and leaf fall. In autumn in the northern hemisphere, the sun appears to move from the celestial equator to the Tropic of Capricorn. Astronomically, autumn begins here with the equinox on 22 or 23 September; meteorologically and biologically, it is usually at the beginning of September. For the southern hemisphere, the astronomical start is on 20/21 March.
