About ‘Cretaceous cliffs of Etretat’ by Alex van der Aa

Etretat is one of the most beautiful places on the coast of France. Etretat is mainly named for its impressive chalk cliffs, especially l'Aiguille. A protruding rock in the shape of a point that rises 70 meters above the water of the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a special rock: the so-called elephant rock which is also called Manneporte. You don't need a lot of imagination to see an elephant in this rock. It makes this place one of the most beautiful of the whole coast of France! And it is easy to drive by car from the Netherlands.
