About ‘Cruising along the Eidfjorden’ by Ronald Smeets Photography

A classic image of Norway: lots of water, beautiful mountains ... and cruise ships!

On our way from Norheimsund on the famous Hardangerfjords to Geilo (Buskerud), we passed the little town of Eidfjord along the fjord of the same name (which is an inner branch of the Hardangerfjords). I think it is somewhat famous because large cruise ships can still sail here :)

The fjords are an impressive sight, especially when you consider the size of the ships :)

Photo of Eidfjorden is a pano of a few shots. Taken from road nr.7 overlooking the Simaldalsfjorden. By the way, road nr.7 is great to drive! And highly recommended :)
