A lioness cuddles with her cub. You see the lioness lying down from the front. To her left is a cub about four months old, rubbing its head against its mother's. They both have their eyes closed.
In the foreground you can see the back of the head of another cub looking at it. We see especially out of focus the dark spots on the back of the ears and the thin black stripe across the neck.
The photo radiates a lot of love, real motherly love.
The photo was taken in Kgalagadi National park in Botswana, in Africa, during a safari. The environment of the lions is the same color as themselves: beige, cream and soft yellow. There is arid dry grass around them so you can tell it is a photo taken in the wild and not in the zoo.
