Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Curious black cat – A peek around the corner’ by HyggeHavn

A curious black cat peeks cautiously out from behind a dark blue wall. Only part of its face and body is visible, whilst its large, gleaming golden eye immediately draws the viewer’s attention. The warm, light background contrasts sharply with the cat’s deep black fur and the rich blue of the wall. The minimalist design, clean lines and delicate fur textures lend the motif a modern yet playful character.

Inspiration

With this artwork, I wanted to capture a cat’s typical curiosity in the simplest and most humorous way possible. I love those little moments when cats seem to be watching secretly, even though they could hardly be more conspicuous. That’s exactly the feeling I wanted to convey: curious, a little mysterious and charming at the same time. The large eye reinforces the impression that something extremely interesting is happening just around the corner.

Mood & Effect

The design is intended to bring a smile to your face whilst, at the same time, radiating a sense of calm through its minimalist style. It is particularly well-suited to people who love cats and modern animal art.

As a wall hanging, it is perfect for the living room, bedroom, hallway, office or children’s bedroom. In large format as wallpaper, the curious cat can become an extraordinary and humorous eye-catcher.
