Snails. I have a love/hate relationship with them.
On the one hand, they are such funny and almost prehistoric creatures. Especially when you look at the details through a macro lens: the unusual eyes, the beautiful structure of the body and the beautiful markings of the snail shell. Really a fun animal to photograph. Like this little snail I discovered among my Petunias. It just crawled over the petal, while you can still see the body through it. And then here I focused on the tiny eye.
But on the other hand, they do eat all my flowers if I don't look out.
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
