I am an audiovisual artist and art teacher. In my two-dimensional work, I focus on exposure techniques such as cyanotype and photograms – images created by light, without a camera. I mainly create still lifes, placing objects, plants or transparent materials directly onto light-sensitive material. The process is often unpredictable, and it is precisely this that makes each piece unique. The prints are meticulous scans of my original, hand-made works.
