Dalí Atomicus' is a photographic work of art in the surrealist style of Salvador Dalí's paintings. Dalí and his painting 'Leda Atomica' are themselves the subject of the photograph. The photograph was taken in 1948 without tools and published in the American Life Magazine.
On the final photo as published, the support of the stool on the right has been removed. This also applies to the person holding the stool on the left.
