This abstract artwork features a mesmerising composition of black, pink and deep purple tones that flow across the canvas in curved, wave-like shapes. The shadow-like structures seem to dance as if they are being moved by an invisible wind, while small, silver speckles are scattered across the surface like stardust - a detail that only becomes apparent on closer inspection. A delicate, light-coloured stripe at the edge of the composition adds a surprising warmth that gently draws the eye.

The inspiration came during a night walk in Venice, watching the reflections of the lights on the water. A film I had seen earlier about the duality of light and shadow reinforced this impression and I wanted to capture this mystique. I aim for a cool, mysterious atmosphere that is like a dream at night - a sense of calm and fascination.

For me, "Dance of Shadows" symbolises the hidden beauty in the unknown, an expression of the balance between light and darkness. It was created during a period of self-reflection when I was exploring my own inner conflicts. I used a digital technique reminiscent of ink flow, with layers of colour and speckles to emphasise movement and depth, guided by emotion. In an interior setting, this artwork brings an elegant, modern touch and fits perfectly with people who love abstract art, mysticism or minimalist designs. It evokes the magic of a city at night.
