The first blossoms awaken from the winter silence and bathe the tree in soft shades of pink. A glorious spring morning, when the air is still chilly but the first rays of sunshine already hint at the day ahead. On my walk, my gaze fell on this branch - supported by thousands of blossoms, but only a handful caught the light perfectly. I wanted to capture this brief moment, this interplay of light, colour and structure, before the wind carries the blossoms away.
