The Delta Works, who doesn't know them. Long, vast, endless and a world-class achievement for a small country seeking to protect itself from the force of nature. Sandwiched between the islands of Zeeland and, at its heart, the working island the "Neeltje Jans," this Eastern Scheldt barrier stands proudly above the waters of the Scheldt.
One of the few architectural structures visible from too space and may rightly be called the Chinese wall of the Dutch.
This piece of the Delta Works is the largest and most famous Delta work with its 9 km long storm surge barrier, it closes off the Oosterschelde at impending high tide between Schouwen-Duiveland and Noord-Beveland.
As a photographer, I love to capture the endlessness and details of the Dutch landscape in strong photo images. By using different techniques and combining them with perspective and composition I create the own dynamics that are often recognizable in my photography work. With my photographs I try to capture a momentum in time where you almost seem to be able to touch the image and the atmosphere is almost tangible.
This photo is available in high quality for photo print, photo wallpaper, print applications or media statements. Of course, an atmospheric landscape photo of this heath landscape is very well suited for styling of interior & office, business space or as an image bank for your content & marketing .
