South-east Spain is characterised by little rainfall and a dry landscape. There is little vegetation on the impressive hilly landscapes and the desert-like appearance is beautiful because of the many colour shades of the rocks, from red to white. It is reminiscent of the landscape of the western part of America, which is why many Western films were made here in the 1960s, so-called spaghetti westerns. The region is located north of the provincial capital Almeria in the region of Andalusia. It is a beautiful area which is difficult to explore due to lack of roads and paths.
I got my first camera on my 8th birthday. Now, many cameras later, I have ended up with a 'full-frame' mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has become an important part of my life.
