I made this photograph at dawn when the floor pattern woke first, then the columns, then the slice of water beyond. The arcade at the Doges Palace reads like lace in stone, a measured rhythm that invites you to walk even while you stand still.
A careful aperture and steady support carry detail from front to back. Symmetry guides the view, yet a slight human trace keeps it warm, a soft shadow near a base, a seam in the paving, a breath of light that fades toward the Piazzetta. I wanted formality that feels alive.
The mood is quiet and attentive, well suited to corridors, reception areas, and homes that enjoy order. For me it speaks about craft and patience, and the way care becomes visible when the city is still enough to notice.
