D54 was built between 3400 and 3100 BC. and is attributed to the funnel cup culture.
The dolmen has six capstones, four of which rest entirely on the supporting stones. The easternmost cover stone is missing, as is the keystone below. There are three keystones on the western side. All fourteen supporting stones are present. There is also a gate side stone. The gate faces south-east.
The dolmen is 12.7 by 3.3 meters in east-southeast-west-southwest orientation.
