Two parallel rows of weathered poles on the Dutch North Sea beach of Dishoek on the Zeeland island of Walcheren. These pole heads traditionally prevent calving of the beach and therefore protect the coast. The still low sun gives long shadows. The sea has an azure blue color. In addition to the perspective, the texture of the sand is also strikingly beautiful.
