About "Dragonfly (damselfly) warms up in the sun"

About the artwork

When the heather starts flowering and the nights are cool, you get dew in the morning. A great time to go out onto the moors early and see what insects are waiting to be warmed by the sun. Early then also immediately means the alarm clock is at 4am and sometimes it is quite difficult to get out of my bed that early. But that is quickly forgotten once in nature, because then it becomes enjoyment. This damselfly was already warming up. Wings nicely spread to get as much warmth from the sun as possible. Once warmed up, they quickly fly away. This gave me the opportunity to capture this damselfly with its beautifully spread wings. A nice work above the sofa, in a hallway or bedroom. Should you purchase this work, I wish you a lot of pleasure from it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
