Fine art portrait: Dreaming Of Frida.
Frida is a Mexican painter and one of the best-known and most talented artists of her time. At the age of six she was struck by the disease infantile paralysis and at the age of 18 she had a serious bus accident. During the accident, one of her feet was crushed and a metal piece of bus railing pierced her lower back and hip before exiting through her pelvis. Stuck in a tight corset and covered in bandages, it became a slow and painful recovery process. To relieve boredom, Kahlo started painting. She would continue to do this all her life.
Due to these events, Frida was in a lot of pain and had difficulty moving. This resulted in this beautiful series Dreaming of Frida. In which she takes you into her moving, imaginative dreams.
I recommend that you have this portrait of Kahlo printed on Artframe, Dibond or Aluminum. This is where this work comes into its own.
