About ‘Dune view on the surf’ by Rik Verslype

At the military base of Lombardsijde near Nieuwpoort during the cold war anti-aircraft exercises were held above the North Sea . The beach was forbidden area , as well for walkers at low tide as for coasters at high tide . This zone was marked with high poles that clearly indicated the border of the forbidden zone, even at high tide.
