About ‘Dutch Giant Mushroom (Meripilus giganteus)’ by Andrew van der Beek
Beautiful giant mushroom found in the woods on Utrechtse Heuvelrug, near Austerlitz August 2022. It is a close -up taken from above. The combination of colors and sharpness makes the mushroom look almost edible. It is not. For me, this photo symbolizes the approaching autumn, a wonderful time for seeking out the woods and taking a walk.
