About the artwork

A company of cosplay re-enactors in action during sen battlefield scene with atmospheric natural incident sidelight from the sun. The Rembrand light gives a contrasting and dynamic effect to this picture in which gunpowder fumes and smoking fire wafts from the barrels of firing muskets. . The Dutch state army of the Republic of the United Netherlands fires their muskets at the Spanish troops.

Every two years, Groenlo goes back in time almost 400 years to the year 1627. The Battle of Grolle is a recurring historical event that re-enacts the Siege of Grol by Frederick Henry (Prince of Orange) on behalf of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands.

As many as 1,500 re-enactors come together to re-enact this historic battle in the Netherlands' patriotic history. For three days, they will keep as close as possible to the living conditions of the time. They are completely deprived of electricity or other modern aids and eat food based on old-fashioned ingredients and prepared on open fires.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
