About ‘Dyrhólaey lighthouse , Iceland’ by Henk v Hoek

On our tour of the Golden Circle, you naturally want to see as much as possible. I still think the most beautiful area in that circle is rightly the area around Vik. There is so much to see here and as a photographer you can really indulge yourself there. Likewise for this photo, the Dyrhólaey lighthouse. Beautifully situated in a beautiful spot with a great view over the sea and as you can see in the photo in the distance , the rock formation of Vik. This lighthouse has been here since 1927, having replaced the old lighthouse. You also have a great view over the black beaches here, also a beautiful view you can really enjoy for hours. Should I go back again, Vik with its beautiful surroundings and sights is an absolute certainty again !!!
