About ‘Earth Circles’ by Maren Lyt

‘Earthly Circles’ is an abstract, sculptural artwork that combines organic forms and rich texture to create a warm, layered whole. Overlapping circles and undulating forms in terracotta, sand beige, ivory and deep anthracite appear to step out of the picture plane like clay reliefs, with a subtle, handcrafted surface full of cracks, ridges and fine linear textures.
