The strawberry frog, or Oophaga pumilio, is a small poisonous frog in the family poison dart frogs. I came across this red and black spotted frog in Panama. The stand-off with the ant made for an interesting picture. You can probably imagine that a tiny frog and an ant were not an easy subject to capture. In this moment, the ant and the frog were unsure who was going to change direction and who would continue its path. This gave me just enough time to shoot this picture.
