Eco-printing is a wonderful process. The dyes in plants combined with natural substances such as bluewood and alum give you surprising prints on e.g. paper, silk or leather. The leaves of different trees give different colours even though they are all green. The same plant can leave a different shade on your medium in different seasons. The concentration of the additives and the time of heating also make a difference. In short, an exciting process that gives me a lot of pleasure.
