About ‘Eilean Donan Castle’ by Wilma Overwijn
Eilean Donan Castle is an originally 13th-century castle, located on an island in Loch Duich in the Scottish Highlands. At the beginning of the 18th century the castle was blown up, but at the beginning of the 20th century the castle was extensively restored and opened to the public.
