An Electric Blue Day Gecko on a tree trunk. This gecko is endemic to parts of Tanzania, Africa. The Electric Blue Day Gecko is considered an endangered species on the verge of extinction. Its range is very small; the gecko has been found in an area of about 20 square kilometres, of which actual populations exist in about 8 square kilometres. The populations are getting smaller and the numbers in the wild are declining.
