About "Elephant in the Chobi River, Botswana"

About the artwork

The Chobe River in Botswana is famous for its huge elephant population, estimated at around 120,000 animals. During the dry season, these animals migrate to the river in large groups to drink and play, wading through the water using their trunks as snorkels. The Chobe River offers a spectacular sight for safari-goers, especially during boat trips, where elephants, buffalo, hippos and crocodiles can be seen together.

Why the Chobe River?
Large numbers of elephants: Chobe National Park is home to one of the largest elephant populations in the world, which depend on the Chobe River for their drinking and cooling, especially during the dry months.

Wetland ecosystem: The river provides rich biodiversity, attracting large herds of buffalo, zebra, hippo, crocodile and many bird species in addition to elephants.

Migration: Elephants are migrants between the Chobe River and the drier salt pans, making the riverbanks a gathering point.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
