About ‘Elephant without tusks in black and white’ by Awesome Wonder
Elephants are threatened because they are often poared for their ivory tusks. Some elephants - like this one in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia - have no tusks due to a genetic abnormality. For poachers this elephant is not immediately interesting. A black and white operation.

Awesome wonder is the name of my blog, and it describes perfectly how I experience life in southern Africa. I am in awe of the beautiful nature, and wonder about ancient African culture. At Werk aan de Muur I am the Africa specialist, with a broad selection of photographs of African nature, safaris and the big five.
