About "Empty factory hall with broken windows"

About the artwork

This abandoned factory hall immediately evoked a melancholic feeling for me. Everything about this place whispers of what once was there: bustle, noise, people on the move. And now? Only silence.

The strips of light in the roof naturally lead your gaze to the centre of the space - the only part that still seems genuinely lit. And from there you slowly discover more: the silent, abandoned offices to the left, the broken glass, the graffiti marks on the wall. Traces of presence, but without the people.

For me, this picture is about emptiness. About the contrast between structure and decay. And above all: about how a space can say so much, even if it is silent. Black and white enhances that feeling, strips the image down to its essence.

In an interior, this work not only brings an industrial touch, but also a deeper layer - an image that raises questions, slows down and lingers.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
