This abstract mixed media artwork was created while painting. Often I don't think about what the work is going to be and just start, as is the case with this work. The title I gave the work represents the feeling I had when I was making it. In the original work I used fabric, paper, sand and charcoal. The work measures 30x30 cm.

Op het moment dat ik loslaat dat het eindresultaat mooi moet zijn, ontstaan er de mooiste dingen.
Zo lang ik me kan herinneren ben ik al bezig met tekenen en schilderen. In eerste instantie tekende ik veel na en dat kon van alles zijn, van mensen tot landschappen. Later ging ik grafische en interieur vormgeving studeren, dus toen kwam er ook een stuk technisch tekenen bij. Na mijn studies had ik de behoefte aan meer vrijheid en wilde meer vanuit mezelf schilderen.…
