About ‘Etruscan tomb’ by Hanneke Luit
Lichens give colour to the entrance of an Etruscan grave in the necropolis near Sovana in Tuscany. the Etruscans lived in Italy in the 7th century before our era. More than 4000 graves have been discovered in this area. The graves were carved in the soft tuff rock.
