This evening recording of Breda Spanjaardsgat literally expresses how colourful Breda is. It is a different and more topical view of this historic part of Breda than the panorama that I made much earlier. It seems easy, but still... How do you create a striking evening photo without the omnipresent artificial lighting shouting out? Timing and patience are the magic word here. It struck me that the early evening blue was just interrupted by some beautiful clouds behind the Great Church. The lights just went on and the calm water gave a nice reflection of this scene. It was an hour of waiting for this perfect moment, but with that there is also an in all respects beating night scene of Breda!
