The Rheinau harbour offers an interesting architectural combination of history and modernity. On the one hand, the old harbour flair is still visible, while on the other you can also see unusual architecture in residential and office buildings.
Here, where many architectural styles can be seen, from classic brick buildings to the unique skeleton construction of the crane houses, is an exciting location for impressive photos!
The picture was taken during the "blue hour", i.e. the transition from day to night. While the sky appears bright blue, the lights in the scenery glow in warm colours, creating a harmonious colour combination.
The image was photographed as a long exposure from a busy bridge, which was a challenge because the bridge vibrated strongly due to the rail and heavy goods traffic.
It was therefore not easy to take blur-free pictures there. In this case, it worked out brilliantly! Thanks to the high camera resolution, the image is extremely detailed and therefore also ideal for large-format prints!
