About the artwork

Hellabrunn was the name of a single farm in the former municipality of Giesing, which was incorporated into the Bavarian capital of Munich on October 1, 1854.

The area belongs to the current district of Harlaching (district Siebenbrunn of the district Untergiesing-Harlaching). Today, the name is often used to refer to the zoo Hellabrunn in Munich.

There are birds here, all of them waterfowl, at a small pond in that zoo.

Heinrich Johann von Zügel (October 22, 1850 in Murrhardt, Baden-Württemberg, Germany; January 30, 1941 in Munich, Bavaria) was a German painter. His sometimes lush depictions of pets, which were also presented in the Great German Art Exhibition, are well known.

The painter trained as a genre and animal painter at the Stuttgart Art Academy from 1869. Stays of study on the Dutch and Belgian coast led the artist to impressionism in the early 1890s. As one of the founders of the Munich Secession, he campaigned for a renewal of the exhibition business. For more than 25 years he worked as a professor and temporary rector of the Munich Academy.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
