About ‘Eye Amsterdam’ by Arthur van Orden

Eye Filmmuseum is a centre in Amsterdam dedicated to cinematography. The building is located opposite Central Station, on the north bank of the IJ River, in the Overhoeks district (Amsterdam North). The building was designed by Austrian architects Roman Delugan and Elke Delugan-Meissl and opened in early 2012.

Eye has four cinemas and an exhibition space of 1,200 m². There is room for educational activities, a film lab, a shop and a café-restaurant with terrace. Eye is a member of the Cineville association.

Eye's aim is to preserve the film heritage for future generations, both Dutch films and foreign films that have been shown in the Netherlands. The museum wants to promote a lively film culture in the Netherlands.

Regularly there are theme programs in which the history of film and contemporary cinematographic developments are discussed. The museum also organises annual festivals, theatrical family screenings and retrospectives. It acts as a distributor of classic films.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
