The FO HGe 4/4 I is an electric locomotive that was in service with the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO) in Switzerland.
The Furka-Oberalp Bahn was founded in 1925. A continuation of the bankrupt Brig-Furka-Disentis (BFD) Railway Company. The Visp-Zermatt Bahn (VZ), the Schöllenenbahn (SchB) and the Rhätische Bahn (RhB) bought up the inventory of the bankrupt BFD and founded a new company: the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO). Since 1 January 2003, the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO) merged with the Brig-Visp-Zermatt-Bahn (BVZ) and continued under the name Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB).
