This evening shot shows the Skinny Bridge across the Amstel River in Amsterdam. The picture was taken from the eastern bank, so on the side of theater Carre. The many hundreds of lights that decorate the bridge give a fairytale view. In the foreground are 2 houseboats moored, of which also the lights of the interior are softly lit. The wrinkle-free water gives the statue a fairylike appearance. By the way, the Skinny Bridge owes its name to the previous thin bridge that was replaced in the 19th century.
