About "Fallow deer in the dunes"

About the artwork

Here is a beautiful image of a fallow deer I came across in the dunes. This will always remain a special image for me and will always get back the feeling with which I took this photo. The adult male deer with large antlers looking at you so sternly is quite exciting.

I tried to keep this tension in the image, by keeping the photo as natural as possible and not over-editing. The deer is a beautiful animal that roams the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes. They have a large area here and run wild, a beautiful environment for a walk and also for photographers, of course.
The animals here are wild, but not dangerous. Still, it's a magical moment when they stand in front of you like this, especially when they pose for your camera. I have fond memories of this photo and this day. One of my first successful wildlife photography outings.

About Wander Vrolijk

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
