Farm Friends – Happy Animal Life in the Summer Meadow by Floral Abstractions

A cheerful farm scene depicts young animals in a sunny summer meadow. Two calves stand amongst tall grasses and wildflowers, whilst a small horse looks at them curiously. Geese and chicks stroll along the meadow path, hens peck for food by the wooden fence, and in the background lies a small farm nestled amongst fields, fruit trees and rolling hills. The rural landscape evokes the feeling of a warm summer’s day in the countryside.

The charming children’s book style combines soft shapes with a light, natural colour palette. Fresh green, warm brown, cream, white and delicate shades of orange and pink characterise the friendly design. Small flowers, grasses, fruit trees and the expansive landscape provide plenty of detail without allowing the animals to fade into the background. The harmonious illustration has a playful, friendly and calm feel.

As a wall mural, the farm motif is particularly suitable for children’s bedrooms, nurseries, playrooms and reading corners. Farm animals – cows, calves, horses, geese, hens and chicks – are among the most popular animal motifs for babies, toddlers and younger children. The combination of animals, nature, meadows and country life is particularly well-suited to a child-friendly interior with a farm or animal theme.

The various animals encourage children to search for them, name them and tell stories. Children can discover which animals are out and about in the meadow, what’s happening by the fence and which little creatures are hiding amongst the flowers and grass. This creates a varied picture-book world centred on the farm, animal friends, nature and life together in the countryside. The cheerful scene brings a summery light-heartedness to the wall and offers plenty of inspiration for making up your own stories about a day with the animals on the farm. There’s plenty to discover amongst the fields and meadows.
