Fate – Abstract Yellow Flames in Black Water – Futuristic Art by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

‘Fate’ is a powerful abstract artwork in which three elegant, pointed forms rise from a dark, mirror-like expanse of water. The sculptural forms resemble, at once, flames, graceful sails, leaves and futuristic architecture. Their flowing lines and sharp tips create a striking contrast between movement and stillness.

The deep black of the background provides a striking backdrop for the bright colours. The intense yellow, in particular, immediately catches the eye and is complemented by silvery, white and anthracite-coloured nuances. The light seems to glide along the curved forms, creating an almost metallic appearance. At the bottom, the image is reflected in the dark water. The yellow and white reflections are gently distorted by the water’s surface, lending the artwork extra depth and movement.

The combination of black, yellow, silver and white gives this modern wall decoration a luxurious and mysterious feel. The piece fits well into a modern, minimalist, industrial or contemporary interior and can be placed as a striking statement piece above a sofa, sideboard, bed or in a hallway.
The abstract forms leave room for personal interpretation. You might see flames in them, but also futuristic buildings, wings, leaves or sculptures rising above the water. It is precisely this ambiguity that makes ‘Fate’ appealing to lovers of abstract art with a strong visual impact.
