Father Christmas – A Monochrome Christmas

by AidasignArt

With just a few expressive lines, the characteristic face of Father Christmas takes shape. The hinted-at hat with its small pom-pom, the curved eye area and the distinctive beard are brought to life through three-dimensional textures applied with depth.

The deliberately minimalist design eschews traditional Christmas colours and decorative embellishments. Instead, the monochrome olive green lends this familiar motif a surprisingly modern and natural feel.

The exceptionally impasto-like surface, with its irregular contours, celebrates the beauty of imperfection. Japandi, Zen and Wabi-Sabi form the design basis of this minimalist interpretation.

A subtle yet distinctive Christmas accent for those who prefer natural colours and understated design even during the festive season – from the ‘Silent Harmony – Japandi, Zen and Wabi-Sabi’ series.

Individual colour and combination options:
The pieces form part of a versatile relief collection and are available in various Japandi colour schemes such as olive green, terracotta, classic beige and mustard yellow. Each motif is a standalone work of art and can be displayed individually or in bespoke combinations as a diptych or triptych. This allows for the creation of personalised wall compositions that blend harmoniously into a variety of interior and room designs.
