The Vrijthof (Maastricht: de Vriethof) is a square in Maastricht city centre. It is the largest square in the centre of the Limburg capital. The square is best known for its many monuments - including a 'church twin' unique to the Netherlands, various cultural facilities, a series of annual events and the many café terraces. Vrijthof's history is unique in the Netherlands due to its continuous use since Roman times.

Contemporary images and even those from the past inspire me to recycle them for re-actionary contemporary impressionist art. I also produce collages and digital artworks or find new inspirations and compositions through paint strokes from existing works.
