The Ferrari 246GT Dino is a series of sports cars built by Ferrari and Fiat between 1959 and 1979. After the tragic death of Enzo Ferrari's son (Alfre) Dino Ferrari in 1956, Enzo Ferrari decided to name the relatively modest aluminium two-litre V6 engine (three double Weber carburettors) after him as a posthumous tribute. All V6 engines built by Ferrari bear the name "Dino" from that time on (Wikipedia).
