Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Fisherman silhouetted against the light on rocks’ by Arthur van Iterson

A fisherman stands on a rock formation in shallow water, with two rods placed on a tripod. The figure is captured as a silhouette, with behind them a sea fully reflecting in backlight. The water surface shows thousands of points of light, with a boat just visible against the horizon in the background. The composition is calm and clear: the vertical line of the rod contrasts with the horizontal layers of water, rocks and sky. The black-and-white processing enhances the contrast between the dark figure and the shimmering water. There is no movement or action; the scene shows a moment of stillness and concentration. The photograph combines graphic clarity with natural texture, where light and shadow define the forms. The absence of colour emphasises structure, line and the play of light on water. The image suits interiors characterised by minimalism and a preference for understated, timeless compositions with a natural foundation.
