About the artwork

This painting shows a modern geisha in side view with a calm luminous gaze. Soft blossoms nestle in the hair bun while transparent watercolor blooms drift around the head like perfume in air. The white of the paper stays open so the silhouette reads cleanly at large size and small discoveries such as lash lines, petal rims and tiny color specks reward a slow look.

The image grew from sketchbook notes about grace and restraint. I wanted color to carry emotion without noise, where the flowers echo inner poise rather than decoration. Warm corals and violets balance cool teal accents to keep the atmosphere fresh and contemporary, inviting a quiet pause in front of the portrait.

I built the work with layered washes for skin and fabric, selective glazing to refine cheek and eyelid, and dry brush touches for hair strands and floral edges. Controlled splashes suggest movement without crowding the features. In interiors this piece creates an elegant focal point for living rooms, bedrooms and studios, pairing beautifully with neutral walls, warm wood and soft textiles.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
