Italy's Spello in Umbria is known for the floral displays in the ancient town with narrow, steep streets and alleys. Residents do their best every year to decorate the town, even in the smallest nooks, crannies and alcoves, with colourful flowers. in a mutual competition, prizes of honour are also awarded in different categories.
