A happy and wise flower with a disarming mischief about it. One that wants to jump and dance in the meadow and spread its seeds of wisdom and growth opportunities.
Carelessly blowing with the wind. A flower that brings the message that it all doesn't have to be so heavy. But nice and light and airy, like happy and flying fluff in the air.
When the flower has finished blooming, balls of fluff form with hundreds of seeds. The fluff is carried with the wind like tiny umbrellas to start a new life elsewhere. Tradition would have us believe that there is something magical about the dandelion's fluff ball.
Children use the spent dandelion for all sorts of oracle games. If you can blow away all the fluff at once then you are a lucky child and may make a wish.
