A morning star (Tragopogon) .
It is related to the dandelion.
When the flower of this plant has finished flowering, it produces a beautiful ball of fluff.
They can grow up to ten centimetres across.
Here I have placed the morning star bulb in a peaceful setting to show off the character of the fluff.
Drops of water have rolled off the fluff, adding even more tranquillity.
The small fallen lint seeds reflect the fragility of the bulb.
The colour here is warm golden-beige-violet.
In my shop, it is also in blue.
The focus is on the inside of the seed bulb so that the outer edge is also nicely in focus.
Beautiful in the kitchen, workplace or bathroom.
I have several of this image in my shop.
Look there in the album close-ups.
