Photography as a means of exploring life and being able to share it with others. That is how I use photography. This once started at the Fotovakschool in Amsterdam where the interest was mainly in landscapes, nature and the presence of humans in it. In recent years, I have become further fascinated by nature, ecosystems and how ingeniously it all works. Birds in particular have caught my interest and are currently my favourite research object.
